On January 16th, police in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, arrested a guy. He’s accused of posting fake pictures of the Quran on social media. This guy used a Facebook account named “Parshua” which is now gone. He supposedly posted an AI-made image of a Muslim baby wearing a turban, holding the Quran and a grenade. This image was also shared on X and it had really mean captions aimed at the Muslim community. People got very upset online because of this.
The police arrested him because lots of people complained about the offensive post. The picture and the words were seen as trying to start trouble between different groups of people. The authorities acted quickly after the picture went all over the internet. This made the Muslim community very angry and worried. So the police found and caught the person who made and shared the upsetting post.
What he did was seen as a plan to disrespect religious things. Now he could face legal trouble for making and spreading the mean stuff. Police are still looking into everything and why he did it. This whole thing shows how dangerous it is when people share fake pictures and mean words on social media.
