West Bengals TMC Suspends Two Leaders Amid Internal Strife

The Trinamool Congress or TMC a political party in India has recently suspended two of its members Santanu Sen and Arabul Islam. Santanu Sen used to be a Member of Parliament and Arabul Islam was a Member of the Legislative Assembly. These suspensions happened on Friday.

Party sources are saying that Sen and Islam were suspended for not following party rules and doing things that went against the party. A TMC spokesperson Jay Prakash Majumder confirmed these suspensions. The party didn’t give many details but it seems like there might have been some disagreements within the party that led to this action.

Santanu Sen who is known to be close to another party leader has asked the party to prove the charges against him. He wants to know exactly what he did wrong. These suspensions show that there might be some tension happening inside the TMC party and that some people aren’t agreeing with each other right now.
