Bahraich Court-Ordered Demolition: Madrasa, Shops Removed from Gram Sabha Land

The Uttar Pradesh administration demolished an alleged illegal madrasa and multiple shops in Singhpur village of Bahraich district. Officials stated buildings were removed because they occupied Gram Sabha land without legal permission. The demolition followed heavy police deployment after court directions were issued. Tehsildar Ambika Chaudhary said the action would free land for public use purposes.
