Barabanki: Cow Vigilantes Force Muslim Man to Kneel, Worship Calf

A Muslim man in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, was allegedly forced by cow vigilantes to kneel before a calf, after being accused of disrespecting cows, considered sacred by Hindus. The group, Sanatan Gauraksha Dal, claimed he made offensive remarks. The man was beaten, threatened, and made to chant slogans while prostrating before the calf. Police responded online but later claimed ignorance of the incident. Congress MP Syed Naseer Hussain condemned the act, calling it a violation of human dignity and constitutional rights.
