Bengali Muslims, Including Children, Returned to India After Arbitrary Deportation

Four Bengali Muslims, including a mother and her two children, arbitrarily deported to Bangladesh from India in 2022, were returned on Wednesday following a Supreme Court petition. The case involved two families from West Bengal's Birbhum district who were detained in Delhi and allegedly pushed into Bangladesh. The Supreme Court ordered their return in May 2023, with the last two returnees arriving on Wednesday.
