Two Individuals Arrested in Goa for Holding ‘Free Umar’ and ‘Free Sharjeel’ Placards at CJP Protest Celebration

Goa Police detained two people in Panaji on Saturday during a protest celebration. The gathering supported the resignation of the former Education Minister. One individual was taken into custody after showing placards for Umar Khalid and refusing to show identification. Another person was detained for expressing similar support. Authorities will register an FIR against both men to maintain order.
