Israeli Commander Linked to Hind Rajab Case Killed in Hezbollah Strike in Southern Lebanon

The commander of Israel's 52nd Battalion, previously linked to the killing of six-year-old Palestinian girl Hind Rajab in Gaza, was killed in a Hezbollah strike in southern Lebanon. Lt. Col. Dor Gedalia Ben Simhon and three soldiers died when their tank was hit. The battalion has faced repeated leadership losses since the Gaza war began in October 2023.
