Jamshedpur: Telko Chinatai Case - Post-Arrest Encounter Injures Suspect, Under Treatment at MGM

Early Tuesday morning around 2:30 AM, an encounter broke out in Jamshedpur's Telco area after the arrest of both accused in a snatching case. During questioning, accused Harpal Singh alias Gabru revealed he had hidden stolen jewelry at Longa Maidan. When police took him there, Gabru snatched a pistol from a sub-inspector and attempted to flee while firing. Police constable Shams Tabrez Khan fired back, injuring Gabru in the foot. He was captured, the pistol recovered, and he was taken to MGM hospital for treatment. Senior police officials reached the scene.
