Jamshedpur: Jugsalai Councillors Take Action Against Insults to Abbas Ansari, File Police Complaint

In Jamshedpur, newly elected councillors in the Jugslai Nagar Parishad area are facing significant challenges in carrying out their duties. On one hand, they must listen to public complaints due to a shortage of manpower, and on the other, some residents disapprove even when they use personal funds for local improvements. A recent incident occurred in Ward No. 6 of the Jugslai Nagar Parishad area.

Newly elected councillor Abbas Ansari has been actively working to improve his constituency. However, Tanweer Alam, a resident of Purna Line in the old settlement road area, has been repeatedly insulting him on social media. Today, while Abbas Ansari was overseeing road repairs at a broken road in Garib Nawaz Masjid Line using his own funds, Tanweer Alam demanded Rs. 10,000 from him. When Abbas refused, Tanweer attempted to humiliate him on social media.

Disturbed by such repeated incidents, Abbas Ansari informed other councillors about the matter. All the councillors collectively went to Jugslai police station and filed a written complaint with the station in-charge. The station in-charge assured them that the matter would be investigated and action would be taken soon.
