BJP's Ashoka Accuses Karnataka Congress of Failing to Protect Dalits, Alleges Manual Scavenging in Parameshwara's District

Karnataka's Leader of Opposition R Ashoka accused the Congress government of allowing manual scavenging in Tumakuru, home district of Deputy CM G Parameshwara. Ashoka shared a video showing workers handling waste and claimed Dalits were forced into carrying human excreta. He alleged misuse of over ₹53,000 crore in welfare funds and rising crimes against marginalized communities. Ashoka criticized the government for failing to protect Dalit rights.
