Meerut Man Sheman Khan: 'Wish I Had Died' After 2019 Police Encounter Leaves Him Paralyzed for Seven Years

A 20-year-old Meerut man, Sheman Khan, was shot three times by plainclothes police in 2019 while returning home after distributing his sister's wedding invitations. A bullet damaged his spine, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down. Despite police later accusing him of robbery, Khan maintains he had all legal documents for his new motorcycle. He has never been told why he was shot.
