Interfaith Couple Ties Knot Under Police Oversight in UP's Badaun

A Muslim woman and a Hindu man married in Badaun, Uttar Pradesh, under police supervision after family disputes. The couple, in a relationship for four years, had previously completed a court marriage. Following complaints from both families, police intervened. The woman declared she wished to live with her husband freely. They later performed Hindu wedding rituals at Khatu Shyam Temple.
