Muzaffarnagar Doctor Accused of Injuring Girl After Mother Fails to Pay Bribe

A Muzaffarnagar widow, Reshma, alleges a doctor deliberately bent and broke her 14-year-old daughter's operated leg after she failed to pay a ₹25,000 bribe. The mentally unwell girl was to receive free treatment. Despite a CMO order, staff allegedly took ₹8,000. Reshma claims the doctor forcefully bent the leg during a check-up, causing a cracking sound. A high-level inquiry is underway.
