71-Year-Old NEET Aspirant Petitions for 1% MBBS Quota for Senior Citizens

A 71-year-old man from Lucknow, Ashok Bahar, has filed a petition in the Allahabad High Court seeking 1% reservation for senior citizens in MBBS admissions through NEET-UG. Bahar, who appeared for NEET-UG 2026, argues that while other categories receive reservation, senior citizens are excluded. The matter is scheduled for hearing on July 21.
