TN: Family Abducts Woman Over Dalit Marriage, Husband Assaulted with Casteist Slurs

In Tamil Nadu, a 26-year-old woman, Chithiravalli, was abducted by family members after marrying a Dalit man, Ajith Kumar, against their wishes. They assaulted Ajith Kumar, hurled caste-based slurs, and threatened him. Police rescued Chithiravalli, arrested four family members, and are investigating ongoing pressure from her family.
