Join TRAI as Joint Advisor in Kolkata

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has announced a vacancy for the position of Joint Advisor at its Regional Office in Kolkata. The appointment will be made on deputation under foreign service terms. The selected candidate will receive a salary in Pay Level-13 of the 7th Central Pay Commission, ranging from Rs. 1,23,100 to Rs. 2,15,900, along with applicable allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA) and House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per government rules.

Eligible candidates must be officers from Central or State Governments, Union Territory Administrations, autonomous bodies, statutory organizations, public sector undertakings, or recognized universities and research institutions. Applicants should either hold an analogous post on a regular basis, have four years of regular service in Pay Level-12 (Rs. 78,800–2,09,200), or possess at least twelve years of Group ‘A’ service with six years in Pay Level-11 or equivalent. Additionally, candidates must have relevant experience and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical, IT, or Computer Science Engineering recognized by AICTE, or a Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Commerce, Engineering, Law, Science, or Humanities from a UGC-recognized institution. Membership in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India is also acceptable.
