UP: Muslim Youth Dies After Alleged Mob Attack Over Childhood Cricket Dispute; FIR Filed

A 19-year-old Muslim youth in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, Indian state, died following an alleged mob assault. Anas alias Ayan was abducted and beaten shortly after getting bail in a case linked to a cricket dispute among children. Two car groups attacked him when returning home. After a brief escape, perpetrators caught him and took him away. Hours earlier, they dropped him on a bridge critically injured. Family reported to police, who filed an FIR against 12 named accused.
