Hyderabad Hospital Abduction: Police Dispel Kidnapping Claims

A woman was reportedly abducted from a hospital in Hyderabad's Attapur area on Tuesday, May 19. According to eyewitnesses, the victim was walking on a busy street when unidentified individuals approached her in a Mahindra Thar and forcefully dragged her into the vehicle while bystanders watched in shock.

Police were immediately alerted and placed on high alert. Rajendranagar DCP Srinivas personally visited the crime scene to assess the situation. The clues team and local police accelerated the investigation. Authorities are scanning CCTV footage to identify the vehicle and trace the accused. A video shared on social media shows police vehicles gathered near Mehfil hotel at pillar number 146 of the PVNR Expressway.

However, police have denied the abduction claim. Speaking to Siasat.com, Rajendranagar Deputy Commissioner of Police Srinivas stated that the woman left Joy Hospital after telling security guards that her boyfriend's family was coming to pick her up. Four people arrived at the hospital in a Thar and an Activa, and the woman left with them voluntarily.

The DCP confirmed that no complaint has been registered in any police commissionerate regarding the incident. He added that the identity of the woman and the people involved remain unknown at this time.
