Jamshapur Accident: Fatality Sparks Demand for Compensation, Road Restrictions

A major road accident occurred in Jamshedpur's Parsudih area on Monday morning, resulting in the death of 25-year-old Sumit Munda from Salgajuri. Sumit, a Tata Motors trainee, was riding his bike to work when a speeding heavy vehicle hit him. The driver fled the scene after the collision. Family and villagers blocked the road demanding compensation and restrictions on heavy vehicles. Police and administration officials tried resolving the issue, but the road remained blocked for nearly seven hours.
