On Friday morning (February 2), there was a significant accident on the Patna-Gaya railway section. In actuality, the Jan Shatabdi Express struck three labourers as they landed on the railroad track. Two workers in this incident passed away right away. While a worker suffered severe injuries. The wounded were quickly admitted to Sadar Hospital. where his medical care is still ongoing.
Information received indicated that labourers were travelling to Jehanabad in search of employment from various villages in the district’s Makhdumpur police station area. The heavy fog prevented anyone from seeing the Jan Shatabdi Express train approaching from the opposite direction as they disembarked from the train close to this court stop, so they had to cross the railroad tracks. That’s how this train struck all three of the labourers wherein the workers Ravindra Das and Gandhi Yadav died.
Witnesses reported that all of the accident victims in this instance had left Makhdumpur station together in search of employment. When this accident occurred, everyone was crossing the tracks rather than the overpass. The body was sent to Sadar Hospital for a post-mortem by the railway station and city police stations after they received information about the incident. The head of the railway station, Monu Raja, verified the incident and stated that three individuals were struck by the Jan Shatabdi Express train as they crossed the tracks. Two of them passed away instantly, and one of them was injured and receives care at Sadar Hospital.
