Akbaruddin Owaisi AIMIM legislator recently spoke up about the Lal Darwaza temple not getting its promised 20 crore rupees. He mentioned this during a flyover opening, saying no money has come yet, and its needed for the temple work, the site for a big Telangana festival. Owaisi said he’d get people together to raise this issue.
Owaisi also made it clear his party is for everyone, not just Muslims, he said they are all one, then he asked Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to add dargahs, churches, and Gurudwaras to the tourism plans too not just temples. He named some important dargahs, like Jahangir Peer and Baba Sharfuddin, plus the Mecca Masjid and Medak Church saying they all deserve to be in the plan.
Lastly, Owaisi pushed for other places like Paigah Tombs, Golconda Fort, and Carwan trade route to be part of the tourism program, he said these historical sites are important and should be known and promoted as a part of tourism in Telangana for everyone not just a few.
