Tatanagar Railway Tragedy: Minor Dies After Electric Shock from High-Tension Wires

The incident occurred at Tata Nagar Railway Station's platform number three, where a minor was severely burnt by high-tension electric wires five days ago. The minor succumbed to his injuries on Monday while undergoing treatment at MGM Hospital's burn ward.

The minor had climbed onto a stationary goods train on the platform when he came into contact with the overhead high-tension wires. The severe electric shock caused extensive burns. The incident caused a commotion at the station, and he was promptly taken to MGM Hospital for treatment under medical supervision.

According to hospital sources, the minor's body was extensively burnt. Doctors made every effort to save him, but his condition remained critical. He eventually succumbed to his injuries on Monday. Meanwhile, Tata Nagar Railway Police are completing the paperwork on the case and trying to identify the minor and notify his family. The incident has also raised questions about security and awareness measures at the railway station.
