Fadnavis Criticizes UPA's Imbalanced Mughal and Shivaji Portrayal in NCERT Textbooks

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis criticised the UPA government over NCERT textbooks, alleging that during its tenure, 13 pages were allocated to the Mughals while Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj received only a single paragraph. He claimed that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, Shivaji's section expanded to 17 pages. Fadnavis also accused the Congress of opposing the Ram Temple construction and spreading misleading narratives about temple donations. He further criticized the party's stance on the Women's Reservation Bill and highlighted government initiatives like Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao, and Lakhpati Didi. Fadnavis expressed Maharashtra's goal of becoming a trillion-dollar economy by 2030, aligning with the vision of a developed India by 2047. His remarks were made during the BJP Maharashtra State Executive meeting in Pune.
